ABOUT THE EVENT

After the success of the Voices Rising: What's Next for Asian Americans in the Arts? special, filmed live in NYC

and featuring renowned artists like playwright David Henry Hwang, Rosalind Chao, and BD Wong, we’re

bringing this vital conversation to Seattle with a delicious twist!

The Serica Initiative & ALL ARTS come together to bring you another Voices Rising showcase, a series

that shines a spotlight on AAPI culture, explores issues at the heart of the Asian American experience,

and celebrates our contributions to American society.  This showcase brings together some of the most

influential local voices from the AAPI culinary scene for tastings, performances, and thought-

provoking discussions about the future of Asian American food in the Pacific Northwest. This

live event will blend thought-provoking discussions with artistic performances, featuring some

of the most influential voices from the AAPI culinary scene.

The entire event will be recorded for YouTube and distribution through PBS/ALL

ARTS channels, allowing you to be part of a moment that extends beyond the venue.

The event is sold out and there will be no onsite ticket sales - please stay

tuned for the broadcast of the showcase in 2025!
